eHive is a community of trust. This code is how we protect it — for ourselves, for each other, and for everyone who joins after us.
What we expect
Show up with integrity. Leave the room better than you found it.
Keep your word
Do what you say you will do. Be on time. Be prepared. Your reliability is the foundation of every referral, partnership and friendship here.
Deal honestly
No hidden agendas, no misleading claims, no taking advantage of a brother’s trust. Business inside eHive is done on principle, not on pressure.
Give before you take
Generosity is our operating system. Share an introduction, answer a question, show up for someone else’s win. The score settles over time.
Protect confidentiality
What is shared in a peer group, a meeting, or a private conversation stays there. Trust collapses faster than it builds — guard it carefully.
Disclose conflicts
If you stand to benefit from a recommendation, say so. If a deal could create a conflict, bring it into the light early.
Hold the standard
We correct each other with respect, receive feedback with grace, and never let one another lower the bar just because it is easier.
In practice
What this means at our gatherings.
Our events are dignified, considered and welcoming. We pray on time. We avoid riba in our financial conversations. We treat every room as a place where every member can bring their whole self.
Prayer-aware
Meetings are scheduled around prayer times. Spaces for prayer are available and respected.
Ethics-first
We discuss money, growth and risk through the lens of what is permissible and beneficial — never what is merely profitable.
Member-led accountability
Every member has one equal voice. Concerns are raised directly and resolved transparently, one level up when needed.
